Cascade Diesel has been built the long way—through hard work, long hours, and a genuine passion for diesel trucks.

Before the shop ever opened its doors, Maxx was on a different path. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from Montana State University in 2019, he spent time working in the field. It didn’t take long to realize that sitting behind a computer in an office wasn’t the right fit for someone who would rather be in the shop, turning wrenches late into the night.

He transitioned into running a dirt work crew as a foreman, and it was during that time that Cascade Diesel really began to take shape. What started as working on trucks after hours and helping source parts for others quickly grew into something more.

In January of 2021, Cascade Diesel officially opened at our Kitsap Way location. Operating out of a small two-bay garage, the shop steadily grew over the next four years—driven by loyal customers, word of mouth, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Cascade Diesel is also a family-run business. Maxx’s wife, Lawran, manages the office and scheduling, helping ensure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and that customers have a clear, organized experience from start to finish.

By October of 2025, that growth made it possible to move into a new, purpose-built facility on Chico Way, where Cascade Diesel continues to operate today.
